Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy
Kael Coster is a Registered Counsellor, Somatic Psychotherapist, and Clinical Hypnotherapist with a background that sets him apart in the therapeutic space. A former professional fighter with 27 bouts and multiple title belts across Muay Thai, Kickboxing, K1 and MMA, Kael spent a decade understanding the body's capacity for strength and endurance — before turning his attention to what it takes to heal.
Drawing on his own path through trauma, Buddhist psychology, and embodied practice, Kael integrates clinical training with a deeply somatic approach to therapy. He works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, and nervous system dysregulation, helping clients develop a felt sense of safety in the body — not just insight into the mind.
Kael's therapeutic modalities include Somatic Psychotherapy, Biodynamic Breathwork, clinical hypnotherapy, and yoga therapy. He is currently completing a Polyvagal Certificate with Stephen Porges and a 2 year Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist and Contemplative Psychotherapy (AABCAP).
He holds a strong referral network across GPs, psychologists, Orange Door, VOCAT, Windermere, Victim Services, NDIS, and Police — and brings a grounded, no-performance approach.
Kael works with individuals experiencing trauma and complex PTSD, anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, and those seeking body-based approaches where talk therapy alone has not been sufficient.
